Week #102 - CANDY PAINT

Another week has flown by down here in Texas. Crazy to think that we are halfway through my last transfer here. It feels like it is going soooo fast but soooooo slow at the same time, in a good way. I love it and the work here. I'm the happiest and best I've ever been. I feel like I'm peaking as a missionary and it feels so good.

Our boy Jon is set for his baptism this weekend!! Any prayers for him would be fantastic! He is ready for it but we will need some faith to help him get that extra step. Excited to see how the change will impact him and his life. I've really come to see how much of an impact making covenants with Heavenly Father changes us. In reality that's all the gospel is, causing us to change and become better. All this happens because of our Savior. What a miraculous plan.

On Wednesday Elder Tebbs and I stopped by someone we used to teach named Debbie. She told us her life was falling apart. We set up a time to come back with and she let us right in. We read from the Book of Mormon and spoke about why God causes trials for us. It's amazing how life's questions are answered in the scriptures. The light of the Gospel hit her and she could feel it. We were able to give her a blessing at the end to help with her health and upcoming medical procedures and when we finished she looked at us all teary eyed and said that she felt peace. It was an answer to prayers for all that were there!!

Most of our week was filled with conferences and this week is the same. On the bright side I love conferences because I love seeing all the missionaries in the mission. They always bring the spirit to everything. I'm just grateful for all I have.

I've really been reflecting on the blessings I have in my life. I feel overwhelmingly blessed to be able to know who God and my Savior is. I feel blessed to be a part of His true gospel. I'm grateful for the miracles I've been able to see and will continue to see. God has been good to me and I feel his power everyday. I'm grateful for all I have. Love yall and God bless!! 3 more!!!!
